* It is your responsibility to determine whether restoration of your firearm will increase or decrease its value. Investing thousands to bring back an NRA-rated "Good" to "Fair" condition firearm to "Fine" to "Excellent" condition may result in a much nicer piece, but the restoration may actually LOWER the actual market value.
Prior to any proposal, I conduct a full inspection of your firearm and provide a report on the current condition of wood, metal, parts fit, functional operation, and will alert you to any potential safety hazards (e.g. Damascus barrel shotguns, work sears), A restoration proposal will accompany the report.
New checkering and carving may be added to your repaired or restored stock. See Checkering and Carving fees above.
It is impossible to quote a restoration prior to inspection. The $200 inspection fee will be credited to the restoration if you elect to proceed.
Repair of cracked stocks, dent removal, complete stripping and refinishing, and re-pointing existing checkering.
General Notes: All Custom Rifles Custom Muzzleloaders firearms ship both ways at client cost in accordance with Federal Regulations. In many cases, I will be required to ship your firearm to your local FFL. It is your responsibility to ensure that your receiving of firearms and firearm parts from me complies with your local, State and Federal laws. Full quotations that include design layouts (if applicable) are provided prior to commencing any work. Return times are approximate, and may vary by 1-2 months. Gun builds, restoration or repairs requiring 6 or more months are scheduled in sequence, smaller projects may be fit in concurrent with larger projects. Contact me to discuss your requirements.
